This bug report is against 2.6.28-rc5
Is this a new problem that did not exist in previous releases?
If yes, what release was the last one that worked properly?
Do any ACPI events work properly?
If you kill acpid and cat /proc/acpi/event
and press the power button a few times, do you see events come out?
Please paste the output from
cat /proc/interrupts
grep . /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/*
