------- Comment #109 from astarikovs...@suse.de 2009-02-18 12:47 ------- This delay is just a delay. Processor does nothing, but eats electricity for half microsecond... hopefully, some interrupt will be serviced during this time and it will not be wasted completely. If OEM does not care to differentiate itself by filling DMI, there is not much we can do. The other way would be to introduce kernel parameter, and then ask every user with such machine to learn how to set it. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
