well.
there is no ACPI interrupt when un/plugging the AC adapter,
so surely we can not get an ACPI event.
and it seems that this is what it's designed to be.
I guess you can not get this ACPI event on any distribution/kernel version,
right?

It would be interesting to know how it works in windows, or else I have to
close this because it doesn't look like a software "bug".
