Do you mean that the system will freeze?
Will you please try the following boot options and see whether it still
freezes?
a. nolapic_timer
b. idle=poll
c. processor.max_cstate=1
It will be great if you can confirm whether it freezes on the latest kernel
after using the custom DSDT as in comment #0.
