The thing is, these PM messages only appear in dmesg if I compile with verbose PM debugging, and even then, the screen will stay black on boot the whole duration of this series of messages. The black screen is actually what prompted me to open a bug report, otherwise I would’ve thought it was just working the way it’s meant to. To the assignee: Jesse, if you want me to perform any tests, or if you want the output of any more diagnostic programs, just ask.
