Well, out of nothing, I found "/etc/modprobe.d/video.conf" that had "options video brightness_switch_enabled=1". I changed it to 0 and now I no longer need to "echo 0 > /sys/devices/platform/asus_laptop/ls_switch" on rc.local and I have no brightness changes when loading udev events. :) Who creates/sets that file?
