Overview: acpi-cpufreq won't load to manage p-states on my lenovo x60

Steps to Reproduce: 
load driver, get:
[r...@jbrandeb-mobl2 ~]# modprobe acpi-cpufreq 
FATAL: Error inserting acpi_cpufreq
(/lib/modules/2.6.31.9-174.fc12.i686/kernel/arch/x86/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/acpi-cpufreq.ko):
No such device

no results or debug in dmesg

Expected Results: the processor support EIST, and the MSRs in the chipset are
advertising it.

Platform: Lenovo X60 model number 6364-CTO

Distro: Fedora 12

I'll attach dmesg and /proc/cpuinfo
