Hello,

I have already updated my BIOS ( acer 5740 ) and also applied the patch at
drivers/acpi/blacklist.c and after compiling the kernel, I can control the
brightness with hot-keys. But no success with xblacklight command. More over
"laptop-mode-tools" is also not able to adjust the brightness. Making any
change in "/proc/acpi/video/GFX0/DD02/brightness" file has no effect in
practical. Any tricks or kernel level configuration to make it working ? Please
let me know.
