https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24522

           Summary: _OSI("Linux") always return FALSE
           Product: ACPI
           Version: 2.5
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: ACPICA-Core
        AssignedTo: acpi_acpica-c...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org
        ReportedBy: tomsunc...@gmail.com
        Regression: No

I use the kernel-2.6.36 on Laptop, add "acpi_osi=Linux" parameters in
grub.conf. but it can't work, because _OSI("Linux") always return FALSE. From
the dmesg, kernel says that _OSI(Linux) is successfully enabled and added.
I don't know why the BIOS says no. the attachment is "dmesg > acpi_osi.log".
  Thank you~
