Summary: System reboots instead of resumes after suspend Product: ACPI Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 3.6.3 Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: Power-Sleep-Wake AssignedTo: acpi_power-sleep-w...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org ReportedBy: jad...@gmail.com Regression: No After successfully system suspending to RAM, instead of properly resuming the system reboots. Interesting enough, resume works as expected if I wait for an hour or so, but if I trigger resume shortly after suspending, it simply reboots the system after some second of having the power led turned on and then off. I have tried various workarounds but all have failed. These include * booting with init=/bin/bash, using s2ram to suspend, * trying with various (combinations of) kernel parameters, none have had any effect. I have tried the /sys/power/pm_test tests and they all work flawlessly. Using /sys/power/pm_trace has given mixed results. There are either no hash matches or different every time. Here are 4 results from the last 6 dmesg log files. The two other did not have any hash matches.
