--- Comment #8 from da_...@mad.scientist.com 2013-01-14 17:45:23 --- Ok, so I finally got around to testing the bbswitch module. This does seem to work. I no longer use the acpi_call script (or module). Since bbswitch resolves the issue for me, I did not test putting the acpi_call before laptop-mode starts, I hope this is ok. The question that remains is, is this then a bug in acpi_call, or not a bug at all? What is the reason that this commit makes switching the nvidia card on/off through the normal ACPI call fail? I'd like to point out that the setup with acpi_call has worked for almost two years for me... although I'm fine with using bbswitch instead :) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
