Summary: Sony VAIO VPCZ23A4R: PCI bus is not rescanned on docking/undocking (worked in 3.8.2) Product: ACPI Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 3.9-rc5 Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: Config-Hotplug AssignedTo: acpi_config-hotp...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org ReportedBy: patra...@gmail.com CC: aaron...@intel.com Regression: Yes This is a fork of bug #55611, which is invalid due to my old stupid kernel config. As of linux-3.9-rc5, docking no longer results in rescanning the PCI bus on my laptop. With the correct kernel config, it worked in linux-3.8.2, but triggered other bugs. I will bisect later and add the needed information to this bug report. For now, I will attach both configs, just in case if this is again a stupid mistake in the config. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Precog is a next-generation analytics platform capable of advanced analytics on semi-structured data.
