Otherwise you get the flash effect (see my original report) with kernel 4.7

For example if you are at 100% and set it at 90% it jumps immediately to 90%.
The old behavior (kernel 4.6 + BIOS setting enabled) it changes smoothly from
100% to 90% in about one second.

fn keys to adjust brightness do not work

Flash effect (smooth changes): for example if I set it to 50% it starts
"bouncing" from 100% to 50% and back in a smooth way.
