thermal zone dump
Thinkpad x60 dmesg is showing
[14049.733423] thinkpad_acpi: THERMAL EMERGENCY: a sensor reports something is
extremely hot!
This eventually causes thermal shutdown.
Thinkpad x60 has a regression compared to v4.8-rc1 where CPU was forced to run
at lower frequency with some stress workload like kernel compile.
With 4.8-rc1
