Commit 3cd091a77393 ("ACPI / EC: Restore polling during noirq suspend/resume
phases") introduced a regression which broke suspend/resume on a Lenovo
ThinkPad P50 laptop. After resume, the laptop display now remains blank,
though the backlight is on.
Reverting the bad commit fixes the issue (tested with v4.18 tag).
