Is there any other approach in sight? How could the UART issue ever be investigated and fixed as long as this keyboard/IRQ fix is out of the kernel? Have you found any evidence from the BUG messages/ logs provided by @Jamie Heilman and @PGNd? I assume that at least @Adrien's issue can be sorted out (as fixed + different issue). The Ubuntu people even opened a new BUG over there, regarding the revert of your fix patch (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1941657).
