I am also going to test the solution with rmmod ucsi_acpi, without the masking
of gpe6E.

Please keep in mind that our solution consists of first masking it with the
grub options, but after the system has booted, we unmask it - it does not stay
masked.

I believe the solution using rmmod ucsi_acpi could have cosnequences when it
coems to battery management, or interfacing with usb devices, so I'm curious to
learn more about it.

False, it happens when anything is connected on the USB-C port, including the
charging cable.
