I am currently using a ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 with an Intel(R) Core(TM)
i7-10510U CPU. My kernel version is 6.9.3-arch1-1. I am encountering an issue
with kacpi_notify threads running at 100% usage. When I set the governor
through cpupower to "performance," the sensors quickly show temperatures of up
to 90+ degrees Celsius.

This issue persists even when no devices are connected to the USB-C port, and
even when the laptop is completely unplugged. The problem is temporarily
resolved by utilizing the suspend/wake functionality, but it reoccurs after the
next reboot. I am eagerly anticipating a permanent solution to this problem.
