Artem S. Tashkinov ([email protected]) changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |INVALID --- Comment #4 from Artem S. Tashkinov ([email protected]) --- (In reply to Mario Limonciello (AMD) from comment #3) > Do you think there is an ACPICA interpreter issue? Seems more likely a BIOS > issue to me. According to AI this BIOS is just buggy as hell and there's nothing that Linux developers can do. I'm quite appalled by how terrible HP consumer support is. This laptop has received zero BIOS/EFI updates, it's impossible to request support, it's impossible to file issues. I'm literally on my own. Perhaps I should just sell it to someone who's going to use Windows on it, unaware of how atrocious its firmware is. This is just disgusting. I've opened the case with HP, they closed it literally five minutes later, "Nothing we can do, please reinstall your Windows and reset your BIOS settings". I'm just mad to put it mildly. Sorry for bothering you. -- You may reply to this email to add a comment.
