The system was recently rebuilt, so I don't have a track record of when it
started. I tried a number of prebuilt kernels dating back to 6.6.10 with the
same results (though my system could not resume video after wake on 6.6.x, I
was able to write a script to capture the slab growth and reboot after wake).

I wasn't able to go back to 5.19, as the system hung during boot. Likely some
hardware is not properly supported.

I'm going to look into whether I can build 7.0-rc4 easily today and test, will
update if I'm successful.
