Hello Guys: I am in the process of researching this issue, but thought maybe some of you guys might have experienced similar issues, or would be able to direct my attention to something specific to research.
We have a custom ASP App that was developed by a 3rd party vendor so I am not familiar with how it was developed. This system was placed into production on Monday and since then, we have noticed that our DLLHost.Exe process will start taking up memory on our server, sometimes reaching up to 1+ Gig of memory. Our first thought is that the vendor is not destroying their objects once they are created (SET x = Nothing), but they swear they do this. Would this be the problem, or is there something else that might be taking up the resources of the dllhost.exe file? This is the only application that runs on this server, so we feel confindent it is something in the ASP Application that is causing the problem.
