Closing the connection will simply return it to the pool rather than
physically close it, so it is still a good thing to do.

Subject: [ASP] Closing Connections

Hello Guys:

Should I close a database connection after each page? I know you should
close and destroy any Recordsets, objects etc after you are finished with
them: but I thought I remembered reading one time on Microsoft that you
should not close the database connection, as this will allow for connection
pooling (we use SQL Server 2000).

However: old age has slowly crept up upon me, and I am not sure if that was
true or not.

Thanks for any help
Andy
