If it's an option, setup the SMTP service on your IIS server to use your
Exchange server as a smart host.

Right click Default SMTP Virtual Server
Click Properties
Delivery tab
Advanced... button
Smart host:  your.exchange.server.name, netbios, fqdn, IP, whatever.
