HTTPS will provide a secure encrypted connection between the server and the browser. the ADOStream will use that connection. What happens on the PC itself is not part of the secure connection. You cannot prevent someone from connecting to your site via https and saving the downloaded file to a share on another machine.

By using the ADOStream over an HTTPS connection, will this secure the download of the file to the clients computer (not to a web-browser, but to their actual harddrive) ? > > We want the person to be able to download the file, but securely. The site is all set up for HTTPS, but that is the one part I cannot confirm will transmit securely. > > Thanks > Andy > > > ------------------------ Yahoo!
