Excellent info! Thanks! On the subject of disabling IE... I just spent 2 hours last night cleaning spyware and viruses off my outlaws'--er, inlaws'--computer. The nastiest was the toolbar for TheSearchMall.com. Let's just say that the whole process of downloading anti-spyware and anti-virus software, and then downloading the latest definition data, and *then* scanning an entire system for spyware *and* viruses, when the system is a 300 MHz Celeron trying to run Windows XP with a slow Internet connection, is an exercise in anger management. I vowed I would never do it again, so I downloaded and installed Firefox and changed the default browser to Firefox. Then I went the extra mile and replaced every IE shortcut I could find with a Firefox shortcut, and for every shortcut I created a duplicate and changed the name to "Internet Explorer" and changed the icon to match IE's. These folks detest change, and I know that they'll be tempted to go looking for an IE icon so they can go back to good tried-and-true IE. ...only now, when they do, it will still fire up Firefox. :-) ...unless they're smart enough to do a Start > Run and type iexplore.exe. :-( ...but luckily they're not that savvy. :-)
