Anyone have any experience working with a Sybase DB, particularly working
through Adaptive SQL Anywhere (ASA)?

I've been able to successfully mount the client's DB on my server and get
the correct connection string to access the DB...a fact I was only able to
realize when I was able to extract data from it, due to the fact that
objConn.State is returning a false response. (Say's "Connected to DB" even
when I purposely trash the server name so it should NOT be working!<sigh>)
Obviously, that command doesn't work in this environment.

I'm working with trial/error results. So I just thought I'd toss up a flare
to see if anyone here is experienced with this gibberish?

No specific Qs yet, well...except maybe, are there any other commands that
you know of that are going to be useless from my current code library?

TIA...
Dian ~
