Mokles: I know you can use pretty much anything you want to do strictly ASP.Net development, provided you do not want to use code-behind forms. I do believe you can still make .dlls and stuff with the framework, but have to compile them using a command line prompt, instead of a GUI interface. At times: it it nice to use other applications, as VS.Net adds a lot of extra files. I am not sure if I really helped or not: but thought I would give it a try ;-) Thanks Andy _____
Hi All, I am using ASP.Net 1.1 that came with Visual Studio .Net 2003. I want to use ASP.Net 2.0. I know I can get ASP.Net 2.0 by installing VS.Net 2005 Beta or Visual Web Developer 2005 Beta. Is there any other I can install it? Or Will Visual Studio 2003 work with ASP.Net 2.0? I use Visual Studio for ASP.Net development. How does it compare with Visual Web Developer Express? Are they compatible? Will a project developed in on suite open seamlessly in another suite? Thanks for your help.
