Yes, you can convert it to a service. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ilyas Sent: 10 October 2005 12:08 To: [email protected] Subject: [ASP] Scheduled task OR windows service?
Hi Group I have a VB.NET utility which has been scheduled to run every 5 mins and check our database for any new data in a specific table and sends the mail out. I have placed a list box in the form to view the current record being processed. It connects to the Db through a webservice. My query: Can i convert this to a windows service or is that too much to be a windows service? Pls advise Ilyas --------------------------------------------------------------------- Home : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/active-server-pages --------------------------------------------------------------------- Post : [email protected] Subscribe : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Yahoo!
