Ok, looks like I have fill the whole list. :)
After about 3 - 3,5 hours 4D gets busy (TOP reports between 65 - 80% CPU time) and doesn't respond to anything. Clicking on 4D gives me the cursor-of-death only.
The structure was build starting with the A4D shell for "A4D for 4D", just added 2 tables.
4D writes every 5 minutes a small messages into a table - so I got an idea how long it takes. For testing, I moved the IP address and the database to a different Mac - same effect. Compiled/interpreted doesn't matter.
I'm completly clueless about what's going on here.
