I've tried to get the get query params(*; "&") to work properly with no
avail.
That's because it isn't the correct syntax. It should be:
get query params(*)
Take a closer look at what the docs say about the second parameter.
I even dumped query params to see if I was doing something wrong. It seems
that the query params arent being read at all, either by code or the dump
session. Am I doing something wrong? Arent they supposed to show up in the
dump regardless of my code?
Depends on what the URL is, what the "parameter mode" option is set to in Active4D.ini, and how you are trying to dump the query params.
