I seem to have got the setup configured - passing the certificate paths and key paths, initialising the SSL streams with a non-zero number of listeners. I'll check the Active 4D manual again to make sure.
I am looking at the ITK site and using some raw ITK code to debug - this has got me a bit further. ITK seems to have a problem with the certificate - perhaps its the carriage returns vs CR/LF issue. I am going to re-do the certificate request and test certificate from a Windows machine when I get back home and see if it makes any difference.
