I had big problems with ssl too. But this was in 2004, and I forgot a lot of
the solutions.
If I look to my source for the webserver-part I found this.
If (httpPort=×http_SSLPort)
$0:=$0+"HTTP/1.0 "+$2+×crlf
keep_alive:=False
End if
So there could be problems with keep alive and http/1.1
