i may try it as soon as I have some more time to fiddle. Funny thing, (well, not all that funny) I thought I REALY had the Safari not uploading thing nailed down to a rather specific case, then yesterday, all of a sudden, I can't upload anything via Safari!

Profanity ensues along great anxiety and gnashing of teeth...

About an hour later, Safari and 4D are just like old friends again, uploadn' and communicatn' like it's nobody's business.

I'm gonna start drinking now...

In the 4D Server Prefs panel there's an option "Use Keep-Alive connections". Don't really know what it does. It's unchecked in my setup.

Unfortunately, that must be a 4D 2004 option, don't see it in our 2003 server.

Have you tried setting it and testing if Safari is still failing on file uploads? Don't want to, but could be a reason to upgrade to 2004.
