Recently I've had occurrences of my site becoming unusable as a result of form variables not being passed along to my form processor.
Let's say I present a login screen. The screen itself will load, but when I enter information and click submit, there are no form variables. I am able to log in using a different method where I pass my credentials using parameters, but then I am not able to select any items from my web menu system. Again ... no form variables on submittal. I run A4D on my Server, so I used a client to shutdown A4D and restarted it on the Server, but that didn't correct it Restarting 4D Server did correct it. This has happened about 6-8 times in the last few months. I am not able to discern a pattern. It seemed to usually occur after 4D Server had been running for a long stretch (>1 week), but when it happened this last time, the server had only been restarted about 4-5 hours ago. Since it's working again, I know there's not too much I can check for, but I'm wondering if there is anything I could examine or put into place so I can determine quickly what may be the issue when it re-occurs. It's on a live database, so I don't want to leave it in that condition for too long before getting it going again.
