At one situation I need to generate html-encoded text, like: ä = ä

In Active4D v5 Manual there is a Note to html encode:
"html encode will only convert non-ASCII characters if the output charset is ISO-8859-1 or ISO-8859-15."
Because I use utf-8, there will be no converting ä = ä;
Is there a new way to do the html encoding?

You will have to do html encoding yourself in this case.

Kind regards,
