If I am going to parse something coming from RoR to 4D and write a
myjson.decodeString function, t would have to:
1. Call "utf8 to mac" to convert the Unicode characters.
2. Convert the \ escape representations to characters, including the
\u0000 format.
Is that all I have to do?
If this is Active4D v5, you will have to convert from UTF8 to Unicode,
utf8 to mac is a no op in v5. You could use 'text to blob' to put the
UTF8 in a blob, then call a wrapper method that use 'convert to
text($blob; "UTF-8")' to convert to Unicode.
