It means I tried and it didn't work. I've not looked into it in any detail - I've just always used 'traditional' configuration with standalone - but it would be nice if the same folder was interchangeable between 4D Client and Standalone.
I thought I'd just check what the 'official line' was before I look into it any further (i.e. check the logs etc).
