The ISP provides > 10Mbps through-put.

The default page of the site has 12 graphics, most are < 2KB in size. After
the initial load of IE 8 (in either native or compatibility mode),
subsequent loads of the home page frequently fail to load all the graphics.

In the logweb.txt file I can see that when a graphic fails to load to the
browser, the request for it is absent from the log. This occurs whether the
web browser is FF or IE.

What is the cause of this? How is this solved?

I am doing some web logging with a semaphore wait of 5 ticks, but this does
not affect any image requests.

TIA!!
David
