I'm working on a project where I'd like to not add any methods to
the 4D structure, and do all of the coding in Active4D. Active4D has
a number of error handling commands, but they are designed to handle
page errors.

I need to create and edit existing records and have tables that have
unique fields. Is there a simple way to let the 4D DB engine do its
thing but gracefully catch and handle duplicate key or other
database errors? I know I can write code to pre-check for the
existence of field values, but am wondering if I'm overlooking
something that would allow me to not have to do that.

Thanks,

Brad Perkins
