Hmmm...I'm not sure that would work cross-platform. Active4D won't ignore 
symlinks on Windows, it will see them as text files whose contents are the 
destination path.

Since you have to put the files into a different structure on Windows, I don't 
understand why you can't just write a script to put them in the correct place. 
How are you copying them to the Windows machine?
