When you open the Add Items dialog, nothing happens for several dozen seconds
before it loads the apps and reacts to input

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tap on "Add Items"
2. Wait
Actual Results:
You have to wait for a very long time
Expected Results:
It should load in a few seconds, as it did until recently.
