It's not worth packaging right now. You'll open it, not have any accounts and not be able to do anything. Which is rather pointless :)
It's not at a state of needing users or testers, it's at a state of needing developers who are invested in active. Those people don't need packages or to be running it on a device right now, That said, I have some big questions that have some massive impact on how we proceed with any development. I may as well use this thread to ask them. 1) Is it wanted? There are other open source QML IM clients out there already. Some based on the same backend as us too. - meego-app-im - Whatever Ubuntu are working on - Peregrine 2) Will you be deploying WebAccounts? If we use web accounts, then we don't have to port our own account config. It also means we can use the same authentication code we have on the desktop as by using Accounts-SSO we won't hit any QWidget code.
