Know where you want to go and want to provide up front and prepare a
solid co-existence strategy. Break up your migration into multiple
focused phases such as!

1) User Authentication
2) File and Print
3) Desktop
4) Application Services
- Then you can dress it up

Then start dressing it up. You can use Microsoft MMS 3.0 or Novell's NAM
2.1 (Metadirectory products) for syncing account information between the
two environments during co-existence although NAM is the only one that
does two way password syncing (although it needs NDS 8.5 - eDirectory,
so may not be possible otherwise look at early breeds that integrate
into the SAM based NT environment).
Lots of other considerations, look at the MS White Papers as they have a
lot to say that makes sense, even if they have a blind MS product focus.

Cheers

Subject: [ActiveDir] Migration Question

Hi all,

I am planning out a NetWare to Win 2k migration. Has anyone gone through
this? If so would you be willing to provide some input?

Thanks
Aaron Arakelian
