Hey,
I'm performing tests for a Disaster Recovery for a DC. I'm using multiple
DC's in one site and I want to restore one DC (not the Schemamaster).
I use NTBackup to backup the full server and make a backup to a file
(quicker for test).
What I do is I'm installing a normal server not in a domain, but stand
alone. I than perform a restore of my DC server over that server and after I
run NTdsUtil, to change the FMSO roles, my server seems to be up and
running, but I noticed that I'm missing the SYSVOL share.
I have stopped the FRS service and changed the Burflags value to D4 (got
this one from JSI n°5439) and start the FRS again. It creates my SYSVOL but
it is emtpy ( no Policies ). But still no NETLOGON share...

When I look at my backup there is no data for the sysvol share that has been
backuped.
How can I solve this problem (with NTBACKUP).
