Noah, 1. Look here for the icon explanation: I don't see the 'yellow highlighter' type icon, but you might be able to visualize what I can't conceive.
2. Yeah - basically that's right If you do an IPCONFIG /RENEW after updating the scope, you'll get updated changes - requiring now restart of the machine. Or, you can do some real fun stuff with NETSH and the command therein in a shell script pushed out with Batch Blitz or your own home-grown VBScripts. The options here are almost endless.
