Hi
Natacha,
We had
a similar problem where we didn't choose 'Permissions Compatible with NT 4.0'
when setting up the domain, then had to add a trust to an NT 4.0 domain. What we
found was that accounts created manually in Active Directory Users and Computers
were visible from NT4.0, but not those added by script/ldifde etc
etc.
We got
around the problem by adding Everyone to the 'Pre-Windows 2000 Compatible
Access' group. Theres a Q on how to do this, but I don't have the number to hand
I'm afraid.
Hope
this helps
cheers
dave

Subject: [ActiveDir] Users viewHello all,
We have a functional 2-way trust established between an NT 4 domain and a Windows 2000 AD Domain. In the AD, we have many user accounts in many different containers.
When we try to assign users from the AD in security principals in the NT 4 domain, we obtain a list of users from the AD, but the list is incomplete. We are trying to identify what are the required attributes or container for user objects in the AD to be visible in the NT 4 domain.
Thanks for all answer, I really appreciate it !Natacha Rivet
