Title: Message

Ironically I was in a lab for a while and was told to get everything into production (prior to even getting to test e2k) so this is a little bitter ;) I think I'll get over it though.  We were struggling with Active / Active for a couple of days and decided that A/P would be better initially and we could always switch to A/A in the future.

Do you have any recommendations on that for my production lab?

Thanks again!

I was in a lab, so it was easy just to start from scratch. If this was done in production, I think (correct me if I'm wrong everyone) that you need just remove all Exchange 2000 servers from the organization and then remove the AD information. The following article shows this.

If you have already established mailboxes on this cluster, you will probably have to exmerge them to a pst and then put them on the Exchange 5.5 server. You can't move it if they aren't communicating.

Good luck, and might I recommend a lab? lol

Marc,

Thank you for the response - am I screwed then since I already have the first e2k server installed on the cluster?

Won't work. WHich is clearly spelled out in the release notes for E2k. I suggest you reread them to see exactly what's going on.

Was the cluster the first E2k machine you installed?

Hello,

I set up an Active/Passive cluster for Exchange 2000 sp3 and have an existing 5.5 sp4 organization - I want to be able to send mail to/from 5.5 and 2000 during our migration to Active Directory.  Do any of you have experience setting up the Active Directory Connector?  This is the KB article I followed (Second Scenario):

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
