This is probably OT and may not even be the correct forum, but I need to try. Hopefully I can get pointed to a suitable reference. I'm trying to install a Sun Solaris onto my w2k network and I'm not sure which Name Service I should select to be used by the server. In the past I've used DNS and haven't had any problems but I'm now hearing that LDAP services are also suitable. Can anyone here provide some guidance on this issue or point me to a suitable reference for reading? Many thanks in advance.
