Can you run nbtstat -a 192.168.234.235 from the command line, can you ping the number? -----Original Message----- From: Rittenhouse, Cindy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, June 09, 2003 1:12 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ActiveDir] bogus DNS entries Please help. I have 3 servers, in 2 different domains that keep showing up in DNS with both their correct ip address and an entry with ip address 192.168.234.235. I keep deleting these entries, but they keep reappearing. There must be some significance to this ip address. Does anyone have an idea where it may be coming from, or how I can permanently delete the entry. I have DNS running on a W2K server, it is not AD integrated. These servers do have 2 NICs, but the unused NIC has been disabled. Most of my servers have 2 NICs, but the problem is only with these 3. They are all W2K servers.
