Unless you want to mess around with .Zap files, GPO needs MSI (Windows Installer) installations. You can use Wise Solutions or InstallShield to generate MSI's for apps that don't already conform to this standard. But, most apps already come in MSI format. You just need to know the proper command-line switches to deploy through GPO with options.
